The largest shareholder owning 49.1% of SASCO is the Vietnam Airports Corporation (HOSE: ACV), followed by companies in the ecosystem of businessman Johnathan Hanh Nguyen – including Pacific Import Export Joint Stock Company (IPPG), Europe Fashion and Cosmetics Joint Stock Company (ACFC), and Duy Anh Fashion and Cosmetics Company Limited.
In the first quarter of 2025, thanks to the strong growth of international tourist arrivals to Vietnam, Sasco also prospered with a revenue of VND 764 billion and a net profit of VND 113 billion, up 12% and 146% respectively over the same period last year.
However, SAS stock has recently come under some pressure due to the sale of shares by organizations related to Chairman Johnathan Hanh Nguyen. On May 12, ACFC registered to sell 667,000 SAS shares to reduce ownership from 15.4% to 14.9%. Prior to that, Duy Anh Commercial Joint Stock Company (IPP Travel Retail) sold 667,200 SAS shares.
