The Provincial Party Committee of Hai Duong has agreed in principle and assigned the Party Committee of the People’s Committee of Hai Duong Province to direct the People’s Committee of Hai Duong Province to coordinate with the People’s Committee of Hai Phong City to study, develop, and issue supportive policies for transportation, housing, and income for civil servants, public employees, and workers of agencies and organizations under its authority to ensure harmony and suitability.

At the same time, continue to direct the review and evaluation of specific policies in the province to advise and propose appropriate adjustments in line with practical situations.

Previously, on May 8, the Party Committee of the People’s Committee of Hai Duong Province reported to the Provincial Party Committee on the proposal to build and issue supportive policies for civil servants, public employees, and workers in Hai Duong who will work in Hai Phong City after the merger.

According to the report, to help civil servants, public employees, and workers in Hai Duong overcome difficulties, stabilize their psychology, and feel secure in their work, it is necessary to build and issue appropriate supportive policies for civil servants, public employees, and workers in Hai Duong who will work in Hai Phong City after the merger.

According to the Hai Duong Department of Construction, a total of 2,582 civil servants, public employees, and workers belonging to the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee of Hai Duong Province, and provincial-level advisory agencies are expected to relocate to work in Hai Phong City.

A preliminary survey shows that about 1,400 people need to commute regularly by public transport, traveling in the morning and returning in the evening; more than 700 people travel occasionally (three times a week or less)…
