On the morning of May 17, the People’s Committee of Binh Duong province organized a tree-planting festival called “Eternal Gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh” and a groundbreaking ceremony for three major projects: Cay Truong Industrial Park, Phase 2 of the expanded Bau Bang Industrial Park, and a 250,000 sq. m ready-built workshop project in Phase 2 of BWID in the expanded Bau Bang Industrial Park.
The Cay Truong and expanded Bau Bang Industrial Parks have a total investment capital of nearly VND 5,500 billion and aim to develop eco-friendly and smart industrial parks. The 700-hectare Cay Truong Industrial Park prioritizes attracting high-tech and environmentally friendly industries. The expanded Bau Bang Industrial Park adds 380 hectares of clean land, adjacent to the existing area, with modern infrastructure to serve large-scale production.
Both industrial parks are developed with international-standard technical infrastructure, integrating digital technologies such as smart monitoring systems, IoT, and automated management and operation. Cay Truong Industrial Park has the advantage of transportation connectivity through the strategic road axis of Bac Tan Uyen – Phu Giao – Bau Bang, which was completed in 2024.
In addition to industrial infrastructure, the investors also focus on developing social infrastructure, including housing for experts and workers, and high-quality labor training programs to meet the local labor demands.
One of the key orientations of these new industrial parks is to ensure a stable supply of clean energy. The projects are located near large renewable energy sources, integrating rooftop solar power, developing solar farms, and utilizing other renewable energy sources, aiming for net-zero emissions.

He highly appreciated the pioneering role of Binh Duong province and Becamex IDC in developing a new-generation industrial park model that prioritizes high technology, environmental protection, and digital technology integration. This model can be replicated nationwide, contributing to the realization of green and sustainable economic development goals.
The orientation of developing industrial parks in association with renewable energy sources not only ensures a stable supply of clean energy for investors but also demonstrates the commitment to emission reduction and climate change response.
The Government affirms its continued support in terms of policies, legal frameworks, and investment incentives to enable localities and enterprises like Binh Duong and Becamex IDC to maximize their potential, contributing to the development of a green, modern, and sustainable economy.

“Building an Infrastructure Tailored to the Development Needs of Innovative Enterprises and the Private Sector.”
The new regulation allowing for a minimum 30% reduction in land lease costs for the first five years is a step in the right direction. This cost reduction is essential, according to National Assembly delegates, but it’s not enough. What’s more crucial is creating infrastructure that caters to the unique needs of innovative enterprises.
