At the invitation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra paid an official visit to Vietnam and co-chaired the 4th meeting of the Vietnam-Thailand Joint Cabinet from May 15-16.
The two Prime Ministers witnessed the signing of several important documents in the fields of security, economy, trade, and education by representatives of the two countries’ ministries and sectors, setting the stage for the concretization of cooperation between the two countries in the future.
These documents include:
1. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam and the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand on economic and trade cooperation.

2. Financial Support Agreement on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the implementation of the Letter of Agreement on law enforcement cooperation and drug control between the Office of the Committee on Drug Control, Ministry of Justice of Thailand, and the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam.

3. Cooperation Program between the Domestic Market Management and Development Department, Foreign Market Development Department – Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam with Central Group (Thailand) for the period of 2026-2028.

4. Memorandum of Understanding between the People’s Committee of Hung Yen province and WHA Corporation (Thailand) on the development of Phu Cu Industrial Park in Hung Yen province.

5. Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Investment Cooperation between the People’s Committee of Phu Tho province and Amata Vietnam Joint Stock Company.

6. Decision approving the investment policy for the project on infrastructure construction of Giang Quang Thinh Industrial Park, Thanh Hoa province.

7. Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement between BIDV Bank and the Export-Import Bank of Thailand.

8. Memorandum of Understanding between Khon Kaen University and FPT University on cooperation in training human resources in semiconductor technology.
