Market Management Team No. 5, in coordination with Market Management Team No. 1 of Vinh Phuc Province, the Provincial Police’s Economic Crime Team, and the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, recently conducted a surprise inspection of a business establishment in Vinh Yen City.

The inspected establishment was Thanh Mai restaurant, located in Dong Thanh, Dong Tam Ward, Vinh Yen City, and owned by Mr. Bui Van Thao, a resident of Dai Dong Commune, Vinh Tuong District.
During the inspection, authorities discovered that the restaurant was in possession of 22 slaughtered pigs, with a total weight of approximately 770 kg. The pigs had been eviscerated, and displayed signs of putrefaction, skin hemorrhages, and lacked slaughter, hygiene, and veterinary control stamps, indicating non-compliance with food safety regulations.
The goods were destroyed according to regulations.
Market Management Team No. 5 proceeded to issue an administrative violation report, identifying the infractions, and coordinated with relevant authorities to organize the destruction of the entire batch of unsafe pork in accordance with regulations.
The Vinh Phuc Market Management Team affirmed that they will continue to coordinate with competent agencies to strengthen inspection, supervision, and strict handling of violations related to food safety, smuggling, production, and trading of counterfeit goods, and intellectual property rights infringement.
