According to a Yamaha dealer in DETA Jogja, a popular destination for Indonesian car enthusiasts, the 2025 Mio M3 model has surprisingly been displayed in reality.

The Yamaha Mio M3 125 2025 retains the overall design language of the familiar Mio series but features a fresh new color scheme. The combination of sleek white and gray, accentuated by bold and sharp lines, gives the scooter a classy yet youthful appearance.

With dimensions of 1,870 mm in length, 685 mm in width, and 1,035 mm in height, and a seat height of 750 mm, the scooter is designed with Asian body types in mind. Even female customers with petite builds can easily control and maneuver the scooter.

Weighing just 95 kg, the Mio M3 125 is significantly lighter than the Honda Vision Sports edition, making it easy to handle and maneuver in tight spaces.

As a scooter aimed at the affordable segment, the Yamaha Mio M3 125 doesn’t focus heavily on technology. Instead, it retains essential features like the traditional analog instrument cluster. While simple, the layout is logical and easy to read, making it suitable for new riders.

The scooter doesn’t use a smart key but sticks to a conventional key, which may be seen as a drawback compared to its rival, the Honda Vision. However, this traditional key system helps keep costs down and is easier to replace if needed. On the plus side, the Mio M3 125 offers a spacious under-seat storage compartment that can accommodate a half-face helmet, rain gear, and personal belongings.

In terms of exterior design, the body leans towards a sleek, sharp, and dynamic look without being overly complex. The large headlamp cluster, along with the turn signals on both sides, gives the front end a robust look, while the compact rear end makes low-speed handling more manageable.

Under the hood, the Mio M3 is powered by a 125cc BlueCore engine, air-cooled, delivering a maximum power of 9.5 hp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 9.6 Nm at 5,500 rpm.

In terms of safety, the Mio M3 125 is equipped with a front disc brake and a rear drum brake, similar to the setup on the Honda Vision. The suspension system comprises a familiar configuration of telescopic forks at the front and a single-shock absorber at the rear, providing a stable and comfortable ride.

Both wheels feature 14-inch cast wheels with tubeless tires—70/90-14 at the front and 80/90-14 at the rear—enhancing safety and making minor repairs easier in case of punctures or slow leaks.

According to the price listed at the Indonesian dealer, the Yamaha Mio M3 125 2025 is priced at 18,185,000 Rupiah, which is approximately 28.6 million VND at the current exchange rate.
