VPBank’s stock (ticker: VPB) soared to its daily limit on May 14th, reaching a one-month high of 18,900 VND per share.
A surge in trading volume saw nearly 80 million shares traded by 2:15 pm, with foreign investors net buying approximately 15 million shares worth nearly 280 billion VND.

This upward momentum for VPB occurred amidst a strong market recovery, with the VN-Index surpassing the 1,300-point threshold.
Additionally, VPBank announced that May 15th would be the ex-dividend date for a 5% cash dividend, equivalent to 500 VND per share. The payment date is expected to be May 23rd, with a total dividend payout of nearly 3,967 billion VND for over 7.93 billion outstanding shares.
For the first quarter of 2025, VPBank reported consolidated operating income of nearly 15,600 billion VND, a 16.1% increase year-over-year. Consolidated pre-tax profit reached 5,015 billion VND, a 20% rise compared to the previous year. As of the first quarter of 2025, VPBank’s consolidated total assets exceeded 994,000 billion VND.
Beyond financial updates, VPBank grabbed investors’ attention by announcing the VPBank K-Star Spark in Vietnam 2025, an international music festival featuring G-Dragon, a renowned artist from South Korea and a member of the legendary group Big Bang. The event will take place on June 21, 2025, at My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi.
