Honda has unveiled the 2025 Dio 125 scooter in India, now available at dealerships with a starting price of 96,749 Rupees (approximately $2600). The most premium H-Smart version is priced at 102,144 Rupees ($2750).
The Honda Dio 2025 boasts a youthful and elegant design, now with new graphics and a range of color options, including Mat Marvel Blue Metallic, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, Pearl Sports Yellow, Pearl Igneous Black, and Imperial Red, giving it a modern and striking appearance.
With overall dimensions of 1,830 x 707 x 1,172 mm, a wheelbase of 1,260 mm, and a weight of 104 kg, the Dio 2025 has a ground clearance of 171 mm and a seat height of 708 mm.
The low-mounted LED headlight is complemented by sharp turn signals, with a daytime running light (DRL) strip above the handlebars, accentuated by sharp cuts and angles for a bold and dynamic look that appeals to young, active riders.
A notable upgrade is the 4.2-inch TFT instrument console with navigation and call/message alerts. It also displays trip information, an eco meter, and remaining range. The scooter features a USB Type-C port and, on the top-spec H-Smart trim, smart key functionality.
The Honda Dio 125 impresses with its 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheels, shod in 90/90-12 54J and 90/100-10 53J tires, respectively, and equipped with a front disc brake and rear drum brake.
Powering the Dio 125 is a 123.92cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine with two valves, now OBD-2B compliant. It produces 8.3 hp and 10.5 Nm of torque (up from 8.28 hp and 10.4 Nm). The scooter also features an idle start-stop system for improved fuel efficiency.
