According to the Chau Thanh District’s electronic portal in Tay Ninh Province, the contractor responsible for the incident of road subsidence leading to the Hoa Binh Bridge, which injured five people, is Vu Hoan Limited Company (referred to as Vu Hoan Company).

Vu Hoan Company is located on Tran Van Tra road, Tan Hoa ward, Tan Binh district, Tay Ninh city, Tay Ninh Province.
On April 26, 2024, the Chau Thanh District Construction Investment Project Management Board approved the selection of contractors for the Hoa Binh Bridge project under Decision No. 51/QD-BQLDA. Vu Hoan Company won the bid with a price of VND 24.499 billion, while the estimated price was VND 25.304 billion.
In addition to the construction package, the Hoa Binh Bridge project also includes packages for construction supervision consulting, construction insurance, and consulting audit, with a total investment of over VND 37 billion, managed by the Chau Thanh District Construction Investment Project Management Board.

One car and two motorbikes were involved in the accident
According to the National Bidding Network, Vu Hoan Limited Company was established in February 2014, with Mr. Vu Ngoc Hoan as its legal representative. The company specializes in consulting, construction design, surveying, project establishment and management, and the construction of civil and industrial works.
On their website, Vu Hoan Company showcases their completed projects, mainly in Tay Ninh Province, including the Tay Ninh Post Office Headquarters, Tan Bien District Party Committee Headquarters, Tan Bien District Medical Center, Huong Duong Kindergarten, and Tan Bien District Department of Education and Training.
Regarding the subsidence incident at the entrance to the Hoa Binh Bridge, the Tay Ninh Province Department of Construction is coordinating with relevant units and investors to urgently clarify the cause and overcome the consequences. Furthermore, the Department of Construction has reported the incident to the Ministry of Construction.
Previously, the Minister of Construction requested the Tay Ninh People’s Committee to direct the Tay Ninh Department of Construction and relevant units to immediately divert traffic and ensure the safety of people and vehicles. They were also instructed to promptly implement procedures to determine the cause, propose solutions, and handle the situation in a timely manner, ensuring the quality of the project, and report the results to the competent authorities as prescribed.
According to investigations, at around 4 am on May 11, a serious subsidence occurred at the foot of the Hoa Binh Bridge, causing one car (with four occupants) and two motorbikes (with three people) to fall into the hole. As a result, the vehicles were damaged, and five people were injured and hospitalized at Tay Ninh General Hospital.
According to the Chau Thanh District’s electronic portal, the Hoa Binh Bridge was inaugurated on April 25, 2025. The project, with a total designed length of 450 meters and a bridge width of 12 meters, was constructed by the Chau Thanh District Construction Investment Project Management Board, with a total investment of nearly VND 38 billion. The construction was carried out by Vu Hoan Limited Company.
