“International Auto Experts Unite at the ‘Test & Believe: Conquering the VF 8’ Event”

VinFast has announced an exciting event, “Test & Believe – Conquer VF 8,” taking place in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, on May 17-18. This event will offer customers a unique opportunity to test drive the VF 8, VinFast’s electric D-SUV, through a specially designed course that showcases its performance, safety, and refined handling.

What makes this event even more noteworthy is the presence of renowned experts, racers, journalists, and KOLs from the Philippines and Indonesia. The guest list includes professional drift racers Georges Ramirez from the Philippines and Vamella from Indonesia, champion of the IDS WDC PRO 2023 & 2024. They will be evaluating the capabilities of the VF 8 on the test track.

Other notable guests from the Philippines include veteran automotive journalist Rafael Daniel Maceda from PhilStar and BusinessWorld; Ferdinand Vinzon, an industry expert and producer of Turbozone on GMA Network, one of the country’s largest and most reputable television networks; Jonathan de Guzman, a renowned automotive photographer and imaging partner for Adobe and Getty Images; and Trasienne Estrada, a female entrepreneur and founder of the fashion brand Coast Thru Life.

Representing Indonesia are Yola Feby Charita and Narendra Wicaksana, the hosts of Setir Kanan, a popular automotive channel with over 1.5 million followers. Known for their modern, youthful, and insightful style, they will be test-driving the VF 8, filming, and providing their assessments on-site.

The event will also feature Satria Katana Lopulisa, a content expert from AutonetMagz, and Rockford Pojono, Editor-in-Chief of LUGNUTZ Auto Junkie, a trendy and innovative automotive channel favored by Indonesian youth.

The international guests will not only participate in the VF 8 test drives but also engage in a panel discussion on the benefits of electric vehicles and the trends in Southeast Asia. With their diverse expertise and perspectives, the discussion promises to be a lively and multidimensional dialogue between international experts and the Vietnamese automotive community.

Adding to the excitement, well-known Vietnamese artists such as rapper BinZ and director Victor Vu, as well as celebrity couples Jay Quân – Chúng Huyền Thanh and Tú Vi – Văn Anh, will be in attendance, creating a vibrant atmosphere and drawing significant attention on social media.

Customers participating in the VF 8 test drives at the event will have the opportunity to be guided by an international and Vietnamese team of experts, including Kenvin Low from Malaysia, racer Tien Tran, and coaches Hong Phuc, Hung Pham, and Vinh Huynh.

Apart from the test drives, VinFast will also showcase its range of electric vehicles from VF 3 to VF 9, along with automotive accessories. There will be interactive areas with games suitable for families and consultation zones for policy advice.

Customers who place a deposit for the VF 8 during the event will receive a VND 10 million discount. Additionally, VinFast is offering attractive promotions, helping customers save hundreds of millions of VND when purchasing a car, including: a gift of up to VND 90 million for those exchanging gasoline cars for the VF 8; a gift of VND 23 million (converted to VinClub points) for invoices issued in May 2025; and an additional VND 50 million in VinClub points for vehicle registration in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City (until the end of January 2026).

All customers purchasing electric vehicles from now until the end of February 2027 will also be exempt from 100% of the registration fee as per the government’s policy, resulting in savings of up to VND 143 million for VF 8 owners.
