The cooperation program is the result of exchanges and agreements between the two sides with the aim of promoting Vietnamese products, improving the competitiveness of Vietnamese enterprises, especially in the field of consumer goods, agricultural products, and aquatic products.
Accordingly, Central Retail will closely coordinate with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to organize annual trade promotion activities in Vietnam and some other countries, including “Vietnamese Goods Week” in Thailand. At the same time, they will participate in the Vietnam International Sourcing event as a bridge connecting domestic suppliers with the international distribution system.

Central Retail Group also commits to providing detailed technical guidelines on the necessary standards for Vietnamese enterprises to bring their goods into the group’s supermarket and shopping mall systems in the markets where they operate.
Within the framework of cooperation, Central Retail will research and develop agricultural production projects that meet domestic and international quality standards, support enterprises in distributing through their system, and participate in building brands for Vietnamese specialty agricultural products.
In addition, the two sides will also cooperate to improve the quality of human resources in the field of distribution and retail through in-depth training programs and technical support.
Especially, Central Retail will continue to develop consumption value chains for ethnic minority and mountainous people and implement community livelihood models that the group is pursuing in Vietnam.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade affirms that it will closely coordinate with Central Retail in implementing cooperation programs, supporting local and enterprise connectivity, disseminating guidance information, and sharing commercial infrastructure planning data in accordance with the law.
Both sides commit to maintaining periodic dialogues and removing obstacles in the process of practical implementation.
This cooperation program is valid from 2026 to 2028 and is an important milestone in the economic and trade cooperation between Vietnam and Thailand, contributing to bringing Vietnamese goods further to the regional and global markets.
