How will ATO/ATC orders be displayed and prioritized on the KRX system?

  • They will still take priority over LO orders at the same price
  • Displayed at a price of 0 to ensure information is hidden as before
  • No longer take priority over previously entered LO orders and are displayed as LO orders
  • Only used in periodic sessions and prices are not displayed

On the KRX system, ATO/ATC orders will no longer have priority over existing LO orders. The prices of ATO/ATC orders are displayed like regular LO orders, bringing more transparency to the trading process.

What is the new name for the MP (Market Price) order type on the KRX system, previously used on HOSE?

  • MTO (Market To Open)
  • MTL (Market To Limit)
  • MPL (Market Price Limit)
  • No longer in use

On the KRX system, the MP order type has been renamed to MTL (Market To Limit), but its functionality remains the same – it buys/sells at the market price and then converts to a limit order if not fully matched.

When will the foreign room for foreign investors’ transactions on the KRX system be reduced?

  • After the matched order trading is successfully matched
  • After T+2 settlement is completed
  • As soon as the buy order is entered into the trading system
  • When the remaining room is < 10%

For matched order trading, the foreign room will decrease as soon as the buy order is entered into the system, without waiting for matching or settlement. This change is crucial for tighter and more transparent room management.
