The Cao Bang Provincial Police request that those involved in these violations come to the headquarters of the Traffic Police Division at: Group 5, Song Hien Ward, Cao Bang City, to resolve the issue according to regulations.

If the violators do not come forward, the Provincial Police will coordinate with the local authorities of the vehicle owner’s residence, place of study, work, or main office to handle the case.

Within 20 days, violation information will be posted on the website of the Traffic Police Department, and the status will be updated to alert the Vehicle Registration Agency (for vehicles subject to inspection).

According to Decree 168/2024/ND-CP, driving a car above the speed limit by 5 km/h to under 10 km/h will result in a fine ranging from VND 800,000 to VND 1,000,000. However, this violation will not lead to the temporary retention of the vehicle or a deduction of points from the driver’s license. For driving a car 10 km/h to 20 km/h above the speed limit, the fine is VND 4,000,000 to VND 6,000,000, and two points will be deducted from the driver’s license.

For driving a car over 20 km/h to 35 km/h above the speed limit, the fine is VND 6,000,000 to VND 8,000,000, and four points will be deducted. If a car is driven over 35 km/h above the speed limit, the fine is VND 12,000,000 to VND 14,000,000, and six points will be deducted. Additionally, driving a car above the speed limit and causing a traffic accident will result in a fine of VND 20,000,000 to VND 22,000,000 and a deduction of ten points from the driver’s license.
