Recently, the People’s Committee of Hoa Binh province signed and issued decisions to convert forest land use purposes for three major projects invested by Sun Hoa Binh Joint Stock Company (a member of Sun Group Corporation). The projects include:
The Complex of High-end Eco-urban, Entertainment and Cuoi Ha Cable Car System in Kim Boi and Cuoi Ha communes (Kim Boi district, Hoa Binh province). The project converts over 12 hectares of plantation forest land (which has been adjusted outside the planning of the three types of forests) to other purposes. Approved for investment in 2022, the project has a scale of nearly 190 hectares with a total investment of over VND 6,600 billion.
High-end Eco-urban, Resort and Mineral Hot Spring Project at Ho Kha in Quy Hoa commune (Lac Son district, Hoa Binh province). The project converts nearly 15 hectares of plantation forest land (which has also been adjusted outside the three types of forest planning). With a scale of more than 85 hectares, the project is expected to house a population of 4,600 people and has a total investment of over VND 2,600 billion.
High-end Eco-urban, Resort, and Entertainment Project at Thung Hill in Quy Hoa commune (Lac Son district, Hoa Binh province). The converted forest area is over 29 hectares, also of plantation forests that have been adjusted in planning. The project has an area of more than 184 hectares with an investment of over VND 5,300 billion.
The total forest area converted for the three projects is over 56 hectares, mainly plantation forests for production, which have been adjusted outside the planning of the three types of forests.

On May 16, Sun Group Corporation commenced the construction of the Urban Area on 3/2 Street project in wards 10 and 11 (Vung Tau city, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province). The project covers an area of about 96 hectares with a total investment of up to VND 37,000 billion.
