According to a document from the Department of Foreign Affairs, Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation (KBC) and Saigon Investment Group are facilitating the Trump Vietnam Project in Ho Chi Minh City and met with city leaders in March 2025.

To materialize these projects, according to the weekly work schedule of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Office for the week of May 19-25, the city’s leaders will have two working sessions with the Trump Group (The Trump Organization).

On this visit and working trip, there will be two groups in the delegation.

Group 1: Led by Mr. Charles James Boyd Bowman, Project Director of Trump International Hung Yen, arriving in the city on May 19, 2025.

Group 2: Led by Mr. Eric Trump, Senior Vice President of The Trump Organization and the third son of US President Donald Trump, arriving in the city on May 22, 2025.

The delegation will visit the Thu Thiem area to survey the proposed site for the construction of the Trump Tower and hopes to have a working session with city leaders regarding this project.

Following the information about this Trump Tower project, at the end of the trading session on May 19, CII shares of Ho Chi Minh City Technical Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company surged to the maximum daily limit of VND 14,200/1cp, up 6.77% from the previous day, with no sellers.

Regarding the business activities of Ho Chi Minh City Technical Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company, at the beginning of May, the company also announced information related to receiving 9 land plots in Thu Thiem as compensation for BT projects with a total area of 9.6 hectares.

Currently, Ho Chi Minh City Technical Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company still has 5 land plots that have not been invested in. The total value of the BT project according to the signed contract is about VND 2,641 billion.
