CII Trading and Investment One Member Co., Ltd. (CII Invest) reported a purchase of 1.83 million NBB shares of NBB Investment Joint Stock Company during May 20–23, 2025.
Following this transaction, CII Invest increased its holdings from 46.71 million shares (46.64%) to 48.54 million shares (48.47% of NBB’s charter capital).
As a subsidiary of HoSE-listed HCMC Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company (CII), the CII group has increased its total ownership in NBB from 73.09% to 74.92%.
Previously, between May 9 and May 12, CII Invest purchased 10,039,000 NBB shares through a deal with My Steel Trading and Service Co., Ltd.

Recently, NBB has witnessed consecutive changes in its shareholders. On April 9, My Dung Trading and Service Co., Ltd. also reported a sale of 108,800 NBB shares, reducing its ownership from 5.03% to 4.92% of charter capital, thus no longer being a major shareholder of NBB.
In terms of business performance, in the first quarter of 2025, NBB recorded consolidated revenue of VND 13.6 billion, down 51% over the same period; after-tax profit was nearly VND 53 million, higher than the figure of VND 49 million in the previous year.
For 2025, NBB sets a plan for total revenue of VND 404 billion and expected after-tax profit of VND 2 billion, up over 4% and 4.5 times higher than the performance in 2024, respectively.
Thus, by the first quarter of 2025, NBB had achieved only 2.65% of the profit plan for the year.
