Fecon Joint Stock Company (FCN on HoSE) has just released a report on changes in major shareholder ownership, pertaining to investors holding 5% or more of the company’s shares.
On May 15, 2025, HD Capital Joint Stock Company (HDCapital) successfully sold 1.5 million FCN shares to reduce its ownership stake.
Following this transaction, HDCapital’s holdings decreased from over 17.6 million shares to just over 16.1 million, reducing their ownership stake from 11.18% to 10.23% in Fecon.

Based on the closing price of FCN shares on May 15, 2025, at VND 14,750 per share, HDCapital is estimated to have earned over VND 22.1 billion from this sale.
In a similar development, Mr. Tran Trong Thang, Standing Vice Chairman of Fecon’s Board of Directors, recently registered to sell 100,000 FCN shares due to personal financial needs. The transaction is expected to take place between May 22, 2025, and June 20, 2025, through matching or negotiated orders.
Prior to the transaction, Mr. Thang owned 657,261 shares, representing a 0.417% stake in Fecon. If the transaction is successful, his holdings will decrease to 557,261 shares, equivalent to a 0.35% stake.
In another update, the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) recently published a report on Fecon’s bond principal and interest repayment status.
Accordingly, on May 5, 2025, Fecon made a timely payment of nearly VND 97.8 billion in principal and interest for the FCNH2325001 bond lot. This included VND 95.2 billion in principal and nearly VND 2.6 billion in bond interest.
It is worth noting that this bond lot was issued in 2023, with an actual issuance value of VND 126 billion, a term of 18 months, and a maturity date of April 30, 2025.
Prior to this, Fecon had repurchased a portion of this bond lot three times before maturity. Specifically, on October 30, 2024, they repurchased VND 10.8 billion; on July 30, 2024, they repurchased VND 9.5 billion; and on May 2, 2024, they repurchased VND 10.5 billion.
Additionally, in 2024, the company paid over VND 12.3 billion to settle four interest payments on the aforementioned bond lot as per the schedule.
