The Khoai Chau urban, eco-tourism, and golf complex project spans nearly 1,000 hectares with a total investment of over 1.5 billion USD. It encompasses a 54-hole VIP golf course, luxury resorts, upscale villas, modern urban areas, and world-class amenities.
This project is a strategic collaboration between the Trump Organization and Hung Yen Company, a member of the Kinh Bac City Development Corporation. It is the first Trump-branded project in Vietnam, continuing the quality standards that have made Trump properties renowned globally. It promises to become one of the most iconic destinations in the country.
The project is also of international scale and significance, playing a crucial role in the socio-economic development and growth acceleration of Hung Yen province and Vietnam as a whole. It is expected to maximize the tourism potential of the Red River Delta region and become a landmark project, symbolizing the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and the United States.

Speaking at the event, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his delight in attending the groundbreaking ceremony amid the country’s recent 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification and 135th birthday celebrations of President Ho Chi Minh. He also looked forward to the upcoming 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd.
The Prime Minister highlighted the project’s significance in strengthening Vietnam–US relations, demonstrating the confidence of foreign investors, including those from the US, in Vietnam. It contributes to the rapid and sustainable development of Hung Yen and Vietnam, incorporating world-class projects that prioritize a green, clean, and beautiful environment. Additionally, it enhances the brand value of Hung Yen and Vietnam, facilitates technology transfer, and creates job opportunities for locals.
In fact, leading US corporations such as Intel, Nike, Apple, Boeing, and Nvidia, and now the Trump Organization, are expanding their investments in Vietnam, reflecting their trust in the country’s business environment.
The Prime Minister recalled that during his first term, President Donald Trump visited Vietnam twice, leaving positive impressions and memories. The Vietnam-US Comprehensive Strategic Partnership has continued to flourish, making significant contributions to peace, cooperation, and development in the region and worldwide. Vietnam looks forward to welcoming President Trump back to the country.
Regarding the presence of Mr. Eric Trump and his wife at the ceremony, the Prime Minister believed that their participation would inspire and motivate the project. He pointed out that the groundbreaking ceremony was just the beginning, and there was a significant amount of work ahead in finalizing designs, acquiring a large area of land, and ensuring timely and quality construction while upholding technical, aesthetic, environmental, and labor safety standards.
The Prime Minister urged Hung Yen province and relevant ministries to coordinate closely and provide active support to complete the project within two years, coinciding with the APEC 2027 event in Vietnam. He emphasized that the project would elevate Hung Yen’s service sector to new heights and solidify the strong relationship between the two countries.
He expressed his gratitude to the local people for their support and land contribution to the project, benefiting the development of their hometown and the country. He also emphasized the importance of ensuring improved livelihoods and living conditions for those who have given up their land for the project.
The Prime Minister underscored Hung Yen’s rich cultural and historical heritage and its reputation as a “land of geographical advantages and talented people.” He encouraged the province to carry forward this tradition in the new era of national development, aiming for a prosperous, civilized, and thriving nation with happy and prosperous people.
He expressed his confidence in the project’s success, believing it would benefit investors and both countries, contributing to peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the region and globally.
