The exhibition areas showcased Synology’s integration of AI into the workplace and office environments through their Synology Office Suite. This convenient toolkit for enterprises and individuals includes Synology Drive, Synology Office (compatible with Microsoft Office files), MailPlus, Calendar, Chat, Contacts, and Notes. All data created within this suite can be seamlessly synchronized using Synology NAS.

Notable new features within the Synology Office Suite include ChatPlus and Synology Meet. ChatPlus enhances team communication with detailed permission settings and flexible channel management. It enables users to communicate and message colleagues, as well as create groups for cross-departmental collaboration. Synology Meet, on the other hand, offers a unique capability: real-time translation during online meetings. This feature was tested and found to be highly accurate and responsive, making it invaluable for companies with international partners. Synology Meet also accommodates online meetings with up to 7,000 participants, catering to the needs of companies adopting hybrid work models or hosting large workshops online.

Synology also unveiled a new feature called Deep Search, which transforms how users search for information and images stored on their NAS. With AI integration, users can now search using descriptive phrases like “three children sitting together on a beach” instead of relying on exact keywords, file names, or creation dates. Deep Search can also read text and video content, providing smart suggestions to expedite the retrieval process.

At Computex 2025, Synology presented a comprehensive product ecosystem tailored to meet the storage and security needs of two key groups: enterprises and home users. The NVMe all-flash active-active device PAS7700 and ActiveProtect: DP7200 stood out as strategic offerings for businesses requiring high performance, continuous availability, and robust data recovery capabilities.
The C2 Surveillance cloud monitoring platform also attracted significant interest by enabling the simultaneous surveillance of multiple branches without investing in physical NVR systems, thus optimizing costs while maintaining operational efficiency.
