The Standing Committee of the National Assembly has reported and explained the discussion, taking into account the opinions of the National Assembly deputies on organizing the interrogation at the 9th session.

After seeking the selection of ministers for questioning, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly received the opinions of 316 National Assembly deputies.

The National Assembly will question the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Education and Training.

The results show that the group of issues chosen by the National Assembly for questioning at the 9th session falls into two areas: finance and education and training.

Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang will answer questions on financial solutions for socio-economic development, ensuring growth targets, renewing traditional growth drivers, and establishing and promoting new growth drivers.

Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son will take the floor to answer questions on the reality and solutions to develop and improve the quality of university education in relation to the requirement of creating high-quality human resources, meeting the requirements of socio-economic development; implementation of legal provisions on extra-curricular teaching and learning.

Along with this is the work of ensuring a safe, healthy, and friendly educational environment; preventing school violence; and ensuring food safety and hygiene in schools.

At each questioning session, deputy prime ministers and ministers of related ministries will also participate in answering questions and explaining issues within their domains.

From 10:20 am on June 20, the Prime Minister (or an authorized deputy prime minister) will report on matters related to the Government’s direction and directly answer the questions of the National Assembly deputies.

According to the agenda, the questioning and answering session will take place over a day and a half, from June 19 to the morning of June 20.
