The Mobile World Investment Corporation (code: MWG) has just launched a new e-commerce platform, MWG Shop, on May 15th, marking a ambitious comeback. MWG Shop is currently integrated into MWG’s customer care application, Quà Tặng VIP.
MWG’s chains, including The Gioi Di Dong, Dien May Xanh, TopZone, and AVAKids, are now present on the newly-established e-commerce platform with attractive promotions. However, Bach Hoa Xanh and An Khang have not yet made an appearance on MWG Shop.

Observations suggest that customers can easily search for products using the search bar and explore categories such as “Electronics, Appliances”, “Food & Beverages”, and “Household & Baby”.
Since discontinuing its e-commerce platform, Vui Vui (vuivui.com), in late 2018, MWG has temporarily withdrawn from competition on e-commerce platforms, although it continues to operate online sales through separate websites for each of its chains.
Previously, at the 2025 Annual General Meeting, shareholders inquired about the company’s new direction. In response, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tai stated that MWG had intentions but could not share them at that time. “It could be a new product category or even a new chain,” the Chairman of MWG hinted.
Reflecting on MWG’s journey, it is evident that the company is a constantly innovating retail powerhouse. In the retail industry, The Gioi Di Dong, led by Nguyen Duc Tai, is an empire with a diverse range of product categories, including phones, appliances, fast-moving consumer goods, and even pharmaceuticals. Every month, MWG’s system generates tens of thousands of billions of dong in revenue.
2025 appears to be the opportune time for this retail giant to re-enter the e-commerce market. This comeback is not just a strategic move but also a statement of MWG’s readiness to compete in the fierce e-commerce arena.
