On May 23rd, sources informed PV that Mr. Nguyen Van Khanh, Chairman of Tay Son District People’s Committee (Binh Dinh Province), decided to temporarily suspend Mr. Ngo Luan, Chairman of Tay Giang Commune People’s Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Mr. Ngo Luan’s suspension will last for 15 days while an investigation is carried out to clarify his responsibility regarding illegal mineral exploitation that has taken place in Tay Giang Commune recently.
During the suspension period, Mr. Ngo Luan is required to hand over all duties and responsibilities as the Chairman of the Tay Giang Commune People’s Committee to Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha Giao, Vice Chairman of the Commune People’s Committee.
