With AI, cloud computing, Big Data, blockchain, IoT, and enterprise digital platforms in their arsenal, the collaboration aims to propel Vietnam Airlines to new heights.

The cornerstone of this partnership is the development of a next-generation e-commerce platform, designed to offer seamless, personalized experiences while expanding its service ecosystem and boosting ancillary revenues.

Additionally, the duo will deploy a Customer Data Platform (CDP), along with CRM, ERP, chatbot, voicebot, self-service applications, and a mobile e-commerce platform. The IT infrastructure will undergo a transformative shift to a flexible, scalable cloud system.

Recognizing the potential for synergy, Vietnam Airlines and FPT have agreed to jointly develop, co-own intellectual property, and share revenues from new aviation technology products, targeting regional and international markets.

The agreement also integrates the loyalty programs of both entities, allowing Vietnam Airlines’ members to redeem miles for products and services within FPT’s education, technology, and retail ecosystem.

FPT has proposed five strategic directions to establish Vietnam Airlines as a leading digital airline in the region: establishing an AI Innovation Lab, crafting personalized customer journeys, migrating IT infrastructure to the cloud, developing AI Agents, and upskilling internal talent.

With a history of collaboration dating back to the 1990s and a strategic agreement in 2013, FPT has been Vietnam Airlines’ trusted technology partner for over 30 years, accompanying them in numerous telecommunications, aviation, and digital transformation projects.

The potential of this partnership is immense, and with FPT’s innovative solutions, Vietnam Airlines is poised to soar to new heights of success.
