In terms of denunciations, the Inspectorate received 2,668 petitions, 71 of which were within their jurisdiction (65 resolved and six under process). They also forwarded 806 petitions to relevant agencies.
The Inspectorate has engaged in dialogues with citizens, especially in cases involving mass and complex complaints. Through propaganda and education, many citizens voluntarily complied with the decisions of competent authorities and withdrew their petitions.
Concluding the supervision, Mr. Pham Qui Tien, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi City Council and Head of the Supervision Delegation, requested the Inspectorate to focus on providing timely consultations to the Hanoi People’s Committee and guide administrative units related to the Inspectorate’s field after reorganization.
Mr. Tien also suggested that the Inspectorate coordinate with People’s Committees at all levels to review the resolution of petitions, the implementation of inspection conclusions, and unresolved audit recommendations. They should also propose solutions for pending cases.
Additionally, the Inspectorate should provide professional guidance to communal-level units that will start operating from July 1, 2025. They should also continue to improve the quality of their work and organize training courses for officials and employees on receiving and handling petitions.
