“Coteccons and Viettel Solutions: A Strategic Alliance for Enhanced Information Security”

Coteccons is taking a significant step towards enhancing its information security by integrating a 24/7 monitoring solution based on cloud computing (Viettel SOC). This move aims to detect and respond promptly to security risks, building a robust IT system and setting high-quality standards for the construction industry.

Coteccons and Viettel Solutions have planned to co-create and develop digital solutions by leveraging their respective platforms and capabilities. The collaboration focuses on a 24/7 information security management and monitoring solution, hosted on the Viettel SOC cloud computing platform. This solution is designed to swiftly identify abnormal activities and respond to security incidents, thereby minimizing risks and proactively defending against potential attacks. This initiative is expected to establish a trustworthy and secure information environment for Coteccons, given the increasingly sophisticated and unpredictable nature of cyber threats.

Ms. Nguyen Trinh Thuy Trang, Deputy General Director of Coteccons, and Mr. Doan Dai Phong, Deputy General Director of Viettel Enterprise Solutions Corporation (Viettel Solutions), signed an agreement to promote information security and strive for excellence in the construction industry’s value chain.

Coteccons, in turn, will prioritize the utilization, introduction, and collaboration with Viettel Solutions to provide digital products and services in the field of infrastructure and smart cities. The strategic focus will be on information security products, including protection against web attacks (Viettel Cloudrity), next-generation firewalls (Viettel Cloud Firewall), comprehensive endpoint security (Viettel Endpoint Security), and 24/7 information security management and monitoring on the Viettel SOC cloud platform. Additionally, they will offer protection against large-scale DDoS attacks on internet infrastructure (Viettel Anti-DDoS Volume-Based).

The digital infrastructure products encompass transmission solutions, television services, telecommunication services, data center services, and cloud services. Digital services include consulting on digital maturity assessment and digital transformation, enterprise management solutions, smart city platforms (IOC Platform), centralized data lakes, big data analytics, and artificial intelligence applications.

This partnership enables Coteccons to enhance its core business efficiency by leveraging technology to improve work efficiency and manage risks in both physical and cyber workspaces. Embracing comprehensive digital transformation with advanced technological solutions and reputable partners like Viettel Solution will provide Coteccons with a unique competitive advantage. It will also establish new standards for safety, system resilience, product and service quality, and elevate the construction industry’s value chain in Vietnam.
