Over a ton of fried chicken feet were discovered by authorities.

Through intelligence work, it was determined that there was a quantity of food of unknown origin being transported to Hanoi for consumption. On the afternoon of May 24, a task force from the Road and Railway Traffic Police Team No. 11, led by Deputy Team Leader, First Lieutenant Bui Xuan Phuong, proactively coordinated with the local team in Thach That district (Hanoi Economic Police, Hanoi Police) to organize inspections and handle the situation.

At around 4 pm on the same day, at Km6+600 on Lang Van Hoa road (Thach That district), the task force spotted a suspicious-looking truck with license plate number 29H-363.XX and proceeded to stop the vehicle for inspection.

The chicken feet were fried and packed in sacks.

Upon inspection, the authorities discovered 50 white sacks in the truck, containing a total of 1.4 tons of pre-fried chicken feet.

At the time of the inspection, the driver, Lai Van S. (born 1996, residing in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province), could not present invoices or documents proving the origin of the goods.

Each sack weighed approximately 30kg.

The driver stated that he was hired to transport the chicken feet from Hoa Binh province to Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi, for consumption.

The task force has made a record and handed over the case, vehicle, and related goods to Team 19 of the Market Management Force for further investigation and handling in accordance with the law.
