City of Bao Loc Recovers Land for Highway Construction

On May 25th, the People’s Committee of Bao Loc City issued a notice to retrieve 9,738 square meters of land from four organizations and enterprises for the construction of a residential area to serve resettlement for the Tan Phu – Bao Loc and Bao Loc – Lien Khuong highway projects.

Bao Loc City retrieves 9,738 square meters of land from four organizations

Specifically, 1,103 square meters of agricultural land will be retrieved from the Lam Dong Tea Joint-Stock Company, 6,300 square meters from the Center for Seeds and Agricultural Supplies, 1,556 square meters of agricultural land from the Bao Ngoc Tea Joint-Stock Company, and 779 square meters from the Lam Dong Industrial Construction Co., Ltd.

The construction of the resettlement area for the two highway projects will be carried out on a 30,160-square-meter plot of land, which was planned in detail for the construction of Loc Son Elementary School (Ward 1, Loc Son Ward) and has been managed by the People’s Committee of Bao Loc City since 2009. The total investment for the construction of this resettlement area is over VND 15 billion, to be implemented in 2025.

In Di Linh District, the local authority also announced the retrieval of land from organizations, households, and individuals for the construction of a residential area to serve resettlement for the Bao Loc – Lien Khuong highway project, with a total area of 11.7 hectares. Of this, 9.9 hectares are land leased annually by the Lam Dong Tea Joint-Stock Company from the Provincial People’s Committee, and 1.27 hectares are land currently used by households and individuals.

Approval of the Bao Loc – Lien Khuong Highway Project

On March 31st, Mr. Tran Hong Thai, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee, issued a decision approving the investment project for the construction of the Bao Loc – Lien Khuong highway in the form of a public-private partnership (phase 1), with a total length of 73.62 km.

The total investment for the project is VND 17,718 billion, including site clearance costs of VND 5,794 billion, construction and equipment costs of VND 8,791 billion, loan interest during the construction period of VND 913 billion, project management, consulting, and other costs of VND 616 billion, and contingency costs of VND 1,604 billion.

Of the total investment, the investor’s capital accounts for about VND 9,957 billion (including about VND 1,494 billion of owner’s equity and about VND 8,463 billion of mobilized capital), and state capital accounts for VND 7,761 billion.
