The signing ceremony took place on May 8 at the Victoria Global Investment Center (Melbourne, Australia) witnessed by representatives of the two governments and scientists, professors from leading universities in Australia.
This milestone is significant for Nutifood, marking a turning point in its globalization journey and asserting its Vietnamese identity on the world dairy map. This event also transforms Nutifood from a domestic enterprise into a co-creator of an international brand.
THE GLOBALIZATION JOURNEY OF VIETNAM’S DAIRY LEADER

Following the joint venture signing, the two units will launch the GippsNature brand in Q3 2025. According to the initial announcement, the label will include a diverse range of products, from infant formula to adult milk and functional foods. Notably, Nutifood and ViPlus Dairy will co-create every aspect, from brand positioning and product development to market strategy and value chain operations.
The products are manufactured with modern and stringent processes, inheriting the essence of two industry leaders: Nutifood (Vietnam) and ViPlus Dairy (Australia). Specifically, Nutifood has over 25 years of experience in nutrition, understanding the needs of Vietnamese consumers, and has consistently led the market share in infant formula.
Meanwhile, ViPlus Dairy boasts a 130-year heritage from the Gippsland region – Australia’s “dairy capital,” contributing 40% of the country’s milk production. Over a century, ViPlus Dairy has earned accolades and certifications, including FDA (USA), CFDA (China), HALAL (Australia), and the 2024 Dairy Excellence Award from the Australian Dairy Association, testifying to its superior quality.
Introducing the soon-to-be-launched brand, Mr. Tran Bao Minh, Vice Chairman of Nutifood’s Board of Directors, affirmed: “We not only produce milk but also create optimal nutritional solutions.” GippsNature is the outcome of a long-term strategy where Nutifood combines creativity and market understanding with ViPlus Dairy’s 130-year legacy. Together, they co-create from brand positioning to value chain operations, aiming to serve not just Vietnam but the global market.
ViPlus Dairy’s CEO, Jon McNaught, also expressed pride in this new development: “We believe that our dairy heritage in Gippsland – renowned for its world-class milk quality – will be further elevated through our strategic collaboration with Nutifood. Vietnam will be a key market for both parties to develop comprehensive nutritional products, offering families healthy, high-quality, and safe nutrition that meets Australian standards.”

AUSTRALIAN PREMIUM MILK WITH A “NATURE-FRIENDLY” PHILOSOPHY
GippsNature is produced with a “nature-friendly” philosophy sourced from Gippsland, Australia’s “dairy capital.” The purebred dairy cows here graze on organic pastures, free from growth hormones and antibiotics. The region’s mild climate, abundant rainfall, and ocean-fresh air, coupled with stringent animal welfare and environmental sustainability practices, result in exceptional milk quality.
The products are enhanced with premium nutrients, offering superior health benefits, including high-level A2 protein, B-casein from organic milk sources, and Manuka honey.

Nutifood’s leadership expresses confidence in the market’s reception of the new brand. A product that meets Australian standards, boasts international quality, and provides optimal nutrition for all ages is something consumers eagerly anticipate.
The stature of Vietnam’s dairy leader is also predicted to rise in the global market as it elevates its role from a “domestic player” to a “co-founding partner” of an international brand. This step forward reinforces the positive message of a proactive and integration-oriented Vietnamese enterprise: leading with confidence, striving for excellence, and establishing a deserving position for the nation.
GippsNature is more than just a dairy brand; it symbolizes the aspirations and integration prowess of Vietnamese businesses. With the foundation laid by Nutifood and ViPlus Dairy, GippsNature is poised to reshape the premium dairy market, offering global consumers pure, exemplary, and sustainable nutritional values.
Unleashing the Power of Capital: Unveiling the Enormous ‘Dormant Capital’
The magnitude of non-performing loans in the economy has surpassed a staggering threshold of 1 million billion Vietnamese dong. This colossal amount of “dead capital” is a wasteful burden on the economy, especially in a context of capital scarcity, and it contributes to keeping borrowing rates high.
