The ASEAN Leaders and Partners Forum (ALPF) is an annual strategic event organized by KSI – a leading policy advisory and international research organization in Malaysia, together with partners such as the ASEAN Economic Club.
This year’s forum was attended by representatives from ASEAN countries and the Association, as well as the ASEAN and regional business communities.
KSI Chairman Michael Yeoh and other speakers commended Vietnam as the fastest-growing economy and a shining star of ASEAN.
The delegates agreed that ASEAN is one of the world’s most dynamic economic regions, deeply integrated among member states and widely connected with key partners such as the US, China, Japan, Russia, India, and the Gulf Cooperation Council.

As a highly trade-dependent region, ASEAN has much at stake when it comes to US tariff policies. However, resilience lies not in the trade deficit figures but in the intrinsic structure and strategic response capabilities of the region.
