Mr. Bui Cao Nhat Quan completed the sale of over 2.9 million NVL shares
According to the disclosure on May 22, Bui Cao Nhat Quan, the son of Bui Thanh Nhon, sold over 2.9 million shares of Novaland Investment Group Joint Stock Company (HOSE: NVL) through order matching on May 19.
Following this transaction, Mr. Quan’s ownership in NVL decreased from 4.012% to 3.862%, equivalent to over 75.3 million shares. Based on the closing price of the May 19 session (VND 12,050/share), the value of Mr. Quan’s transaction is estimated to be over VND 35 billion.
Mr. Quan’s mother and sister, Cao Thi Ngoc Suong and Bui Cao Ngoc Quynh, respectively, have also registered to sell 221,133 shares and over 8.4 million NVL shares from May 16 to June 13 for personal reasons.
In addition, two organizations related to Mr. Nhon, Novagroup Joint Stock Company and Diamond Properties Joint Stock Company, have registered to sell over 3.9 million shares and over 3.2 million shares, respectively, during the same period.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Thong and his son intend to accumulate over 7 million HDG shares
Mr. Nguyen Trong Thong, Founding Chairman of Hado Group Joint Stock Company (HOSE: HDG), has registered to purchase 3.25 million HDG shares from May 26 to June 24, 2025, to increase his ownership.
If the transaction is successful, Mr. Thong’s ownership in HDG will increase from 31.83% to 32.8%, equivalent to over 110.3 million shares. Based on the closing price of the May 22 session (VND 25,900/share), Mr. Thong is expected to spend more than VND 84 billion on this deal.
The move by the Founding Chairman of HDG comes as the HDG share price is recovering after hitting a low on April 9, 2025. As of the close of the May 22 session, the share price had increased by more than 31%.
PVR Chairman follows his wife in wanting to withdraw capital as the Company temporarily suspends business
After his wife registered to divest all her capital in PVR Investment Joint Stock Company (UPCoM: PVR), Mr. Bui Van Phu, Chairman of the Board of Directors, also registered to sell all of his nearly 2.72 million PVR shares, equivalent to 5.23% of the Company’s charter capital. The transaction is expected to take place from May 23 to June 20, with the reason given as “portfolio restructuring.”
Previously, Mrs. Tran Thi Tham, Mr. Phu’s wife, had registered to sell all of her nearly 12.5 million PVR shares (equivalent to 24.05% of capital) from May 15 to June 13, also for similar reasons.
HBC CEO intends to sell 500,000 shares
Mr. Le Van Nam, Member of the Board of Directors and CEO of Hoa Binh Construction Group Joint Stock Company (UPCoM: HBC), has registered to sell 500,000 shares from May 22 to June 20 for financial needs.
If the transaction is successful, Mr. Nam’s ownership in HBC will decrease from 0.18% to 0.04%, equivalent to 123,700 shares.
Following the announcement of the CEO’s share sale, the HBC share price fell nearly 2% on May 20 to VND 6,100/share. Based on this price, Mr. Nam is estimated to be able to collect more than VND 3 billion from the deal.
BCG Energy Deputy General Director intends to sell almost all his shares as the share price increases by 67% after 3 weeks
Mr. Dang Dinh Quyet, Deputy General Director of BCG Energy Joint Stock Company (UPCoM: BGE), has registered to sell 3 million BGE shares through negotiation from May 26 to June 19. If completed, his ownership will decrease from 0.42% to 0.01% of capital, equivalent to 100,000 shares.
This move comes as the BGE share price is recovering strongly after a sharp decline. In the last 20 sessions, this stock has increased in 13 sessions, including 3 sessions hitting the ceiling price, and is currently trading at around VND 5,500/share, up nearly 67% after just 3 weeks.
However, the current market price is still 10% lower than a quarter ago and 65% lower than its debut day. Since its trading on UPCoM at the end of July 2024, BGE shares have fallen sharply from the reference price of VND 15,600 to VND 14,600 on the first day and continued to adjust downward thereafter. Temporarily calculated at the current price, if Mr. Quyet successfully sells all the registered shares, he can collect about VND 16.5 billion.
