On May 23rd, the Hanoi People’s Committee issued a decision approving the task of constructing a master plan for the Hanoi High-Tech Biology Park, at a ratio of 1/2000. The location encompasses the wards of Tay Tuu, Lien Mac, Minh Khai, Thuy Phuong, and Co Nhue 2 in the Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi. The time frame for developing this master plan is set for 9 months from the date of the approval of the task.

The infrastructure system of the Hanoi High-Tech Biology Park will be meticulously designed to integrate seamlessly with the area’s existing infrastructure. In terms of characteristics and functions, the Hanoi High-Tech Biology Park is envisioned to facilitate advanced technology activities that align with global trends and Vietnam’s policies and orientations for high-tech development.

The main functional subdivisions within the Hanoi High-Tech Biology Park are expected to include areas dedicated to research and development, provision of high-tech services, high-tech application, production of high-tech products, education, training, and incubation. These areas will be strategically located in the north, west, and southeast of the study area, adjacent to major roads from the north and west, as well as key transportation routes within the region. The plan also incorporates landscapes and accommodations.

The auxiliary service area is concentrated in the south of the study area, bordering the Tay Thang Long road, with a portion also located in the east of the study area. This area will encompass commercial services, offices, hotels, and hospitals.

A green park and lake for regulation are centrally located within the study area, providing an open space for the entire project.

The technical infrastructure, including a power station, water reservoir, wastewater treatment plant, and temporary waste collection area before final disposal, will be situated in the north and northeast of the study area.

The Hanoi High-Tech Biology Park falls under the administrative jurisdiction of the wards of Tay Tuu, Lien Mac, Minh Khai, Thuy Phuong, and Co Nhue 2 in Bac Tu Liem District. The total area under consideration for planning is approximately 199.03 hectares.
