
Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB – Code: ACB) will finalize its shareholder list on May 26, 2025 (next Monday), to pay 2024 dividends in cash and stocks. With a ratio of 10% (one share receives 1,000 VND), ACB plans to use 4,467 billion VND to pay cash dividends to shareholders. The dividends will be paid on June 5, 2025.
Regarding the stock dividend component, ACB will issue a maximum of nearly 670 million new shares to pay dividends to shareholders at a ratio of 15% (shareholders owning 100 shares on the record date will receive 15 new shares). The expected completion time for the stock dividend issuance plan is Q3 2025.
As the owner of over 153 million ACB shares, Chairman Tran Hung Huy will receive over 153 billion VND in cash (before tax) and nearly 23 million new shares.
Mr. Huy’s mother, Ms. Dang Thuy Thuy – ACB’s Board of Directors member – is also expected to receive nearly VND 53.4 billion in cash and over 8 million new shares.
In addition, three enterprises related to Mr. Huy, namely Giang Sen Commercial Investment Joint Stock Company, Van Mon Commercial Investment Joint Stock Company, and Bach Thanh Commercial Investment Joint Stock Company, hold a total of 180.6 million ACB shares, equivalent to 4.04% of the bank’s capital. These enterprises are expected to receive a total of VND 180.6 billion in cash dividends and over 27 million new shares.
In total, Mr. Tran Hung Huy and related parties will receive VND 387 billion in cash dividends (before tax) and over 58 million shares in this ACB dividend payment.
Mr. Tran Hung Huy, born in 1978, has been ACB’s Chairman since September 2012, when he was only 34 years old, and has held this position for over 12 years.
The Chairman of ACB graduated with a bachelor’s degree in three business administration, finance, and international business majors in 2000, a master’s degree in business administration in 2002 from Chapman University, USA. In 2011, he received a Doctor of Business Administration from Golden Gate University, USA.
