On May 26, information from the Labor Federation (LDLD) of Thanh Hoa province revealed that on the occasion of “Workers’ Month and the Month of Action for Occupational Safety and Health,” Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. (located in Le Mon Industrial Park, Thanh Hoa city) hosted an intimate lunch to express gratitude for the contributions of its workers and employees.

According to the LDLD of Thanh Hoa province, this meaningful activity aimed to encourage, inspire, and motivate the company’s officers, workers, and employees to unite and strive towards building a stronger company. It also served to foster trust between the workers and the company, encouraging their dedication and commitment.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Quang, Chairman of the Labor Union of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd., shared that the lunch was organized on a grand scale, providing 13,000 portions to all officers and workers at the Le Mon branch (Thanh Hoa city) and the Hoang Hoa branch (Thanh Hoa province).
Mr. Quang further explained that the lunches will be held every Sunday afternoon, starting from May 18 and continuing until the end of June. “With 13,000 participants, each portion costing 400,000 VND, the total expense for this ‘Union Lunch’ program amounts to 5.2 billion VND,” he added.

Notably, the workers’ lunch was held at the Royal Palace Event Center, one of the most luxurious event venues in Thanh Hoa city. “A lot of workers were delighted and touched by the company’s gesture of hosting the event at one of the most prestigious restaurants in Thanh Hoa,” Mr. Quang further shared.
Over the years, labor unions in Thanh Hoa have consistently shown dedication to supporting the material and spiritual lives of workers and employees. In addition to organizing warm and cozy “Union Lunches,” many companies also arrange trips for their workers, fostering a sense of unity and closeness between employers and employees.
