A long-term agreement was signed between Vietjet and Airbus International, witnessed by the President of Vietnam, Luong Cuong, and the French Head of State, Emmanuel Macron, during the latter’s visit to Vietnam. The agreement was signed by Vietjet’s Chairwoman, Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, and Airbus International’s Chairman, Wouter van Wersch, in Hanoi.

This deal will support Vietjet’s ongoing international expansion plans, enabling the airline to increase flights on high-demand routes across the Asia-Pacific region and debut new long-haul routes to Europe in the future.

Powered by the latest-generation Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, the A330-900 has a range of up to 13,300 km. The A330neo features the award-winning Airspace cabin, offering passengers a unique flying experience with enhanced comfort, space, and design, including larger personal space, bigger overhead bins, new lighting, and the latest in-flight entertainment and connectivity systems.

As of the end of April 2025, the A330 family has garnered over 1,800 confirmed orders from more than 130 customers worldwide. Like all aircraft in production, the A330neo is capable of operating with up to 50% sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) blended with kerosene, with the target of reaching 100% SAF capability by 2030.

Vietjet currently operates international routes to Australia, India, and Kazakhstan using wide-body A330 aircraft, offering passengers a comfortable journey, especially in the Business Class cabin, with delicious and distinctive cuisine served by a professional, friendly, and vibrant crew.
