Yamaha Y15ZR, known as Yamaha Exciter 150 in Malaysia, has recently made its way to Vietnam through a private importer. The Y15ZR SE is a special edition model with only 2,000 units produced, and now 25 of them are available in Vietnam.

The price of this limited-edition manual clutch bike has not been announced yet, but it is expected to be higher than the regular models due to its exclusive nature and private import status.

In Malaysia, the Y15ZR SE is priced between 8,000 and 9,000 ringgit, which is approximately 50 to 55 million VND. However, due to its limited availability and private import status, the actual price in Vietnam is expected to exceed 100 million VND.

The Yamaha Y15ZR SE stands out from the regular Exciter models with its striking blue paint job, contrasting yellow rims, and exclusive decals. It also features a sporty and aerodynamic body kit, including a distinctive wind deflector mounted on the front headlight.

The side fairings and body panels are accentuated with air intake decorations, while the rear end features a unique Y15ZR logo and fairing.

In terms of lighting, the Y15ZR SE is equipped with LED position and taillights, while the headlights are halogen. The turn signals are separate and located on the front fairing and rear fender.

The bike rides on 17-inch wheels, with a wider 120/70-17 rear tire for improved road grip and stability when cornering. Both wheels are equipped with disc brakes for efficient stopping power.

Other notable features include an LCD instrument cluster, red-stitched seat, sports exhaust, and a 4.2-liter fuel tank. The Y15ZR SE has a seat height of 780 mm and a dry weight of 115 kg.

Under the skin, the Yamaha Y15ZR SE is powered by a 149.7 cc 4-valve SOHC liquid-cooled engine with electronic fuel injection. It produces a maximum power of 15.4 hp and a peak torque of 13.8 Nm.

According to the importer, the Y15ZR SE offers impressive fuel efficiency, with a consumption rate of 2-2.5 liters per 100 km in city riding and 1.8 liters per 100 km on the highway.

With its expected premium price tag, the Yamaha Y15ZR SE targets collectors and enthusiasts who appreciate the unique style and performance of manual clutch bikes.
