Vietnam, he noted, is a prime example of an open economy that has successfully signed a free trade agreement with the European Union. MEDEF believes that Vietnam is demonstrating its ability to deeply integrate into the global economy, foster innovation, and focus its investments in critical areas such as energy security, climate change mitigation, and transportation infrastructure development. A notable project is the Vietjet Aviation Academy in Ho Chi Minh City, which offers modern facilities and programs for training pilots, flight attendants, engineers, mechanics, and dispatchers to meet the sustainable development needs of the airline and the industry. French global corporations have accompanied Vietjet on its journey to conquer the skies, with multi-billion-dollar contracts signed over the years.”

The Vietjet leader proudly shared: “In 2021, the French government awarded the Legion of Honor to Vietjet’s President, Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, in recognition of her exceptional contributions to promoting economic, cultural, and development cooperation. Vietjet is currently a leading partner of major companies such as Airbus, Safran, CFM International, and Open Airlines in the fields of aviation, digital transformation, and green transition. The total value of Vietjet’s aircraft and engine orders from these partners exceeds $42 billion, with 243 aircraft on order.
