The People’s Committee of Phu Xuyen District shared that on May 27, they successfully organized a land-use rights auction for 30 plots in the Ba Hoa 2 area (Phong Trieu village, Nam Phong commune, Phu Xuyen District). The auction generated a remarkable revenue of over VND 82 billion.

The auctioned land plots ranged from 70 to 90 square meters, totaling 2,600.44 square meters. The starting price for these plots was VND 8.91 billion.

Impressively, all 30 plots were successfully auctioned, with a total revenue of VND 82.17 billion, nine times the starting price. The plot with the highest winning bid reached VND 42.9 million per square meter, while the lowest was VND 19.4 million per square meter.

Moving forward, Phu Xuyen District plans to hold more land-use rights auctions for planned land lots in the area. The funds raised will be invested back into the local infrastructure.

This successful auction follows another notable land auction in Thach That District, where 24 residential land plots in Binh Xa village (Quang Trung commune, Thach That District) were auctioned for a total of VND 237.6 billion. The plot with the highest winning bid reached nearly VND 181 million per square meter.
