According to Long Chau Pharmacy’s website, as of May 28, 2025, this pharmacy chain recorded 2,087 stores. In addition, Long Chau Vaccination also owns up to 164 centers.
Compared to the number of 2,069 stores at the end of 2024, the scale of Long Chau pharmacy and vaccination center chain has increased by 182 stores. Thus, on average, Long Chau opens more than 1 new store per day across the system .

Along with the steady growth in the number of stores, the Long Chau chain also recorded positive revenue figures.
Specifically, in the first quarter of 2025, the FPT Long Chau chain contributed VND 8,054 billion, up 46% over the same period in 2024 and accounted for 69% of the Company’s total revenue. Currently, Long Chau has reached an average revenue of VND 1.3 billion/pharmacy/month. In the quarter, the number of visitors to the FPT Long Chau Vaccination Center increased sharply, especially the demand for flu and pneumococcal vaccines.
In 2025, FPT Retail (FRT) assesses that the main growth driver will still be the Long Chau pharmacy chain when the pharmaceutical industry is essential, less affected by macroeconomic fluctuations, and has plenty of room for growth. FRT aims to master technology, promote the application of AI in healthcare, and provide services to enhance operational efficiency and optimize users.
According to FRT Vice President Nguyen Do Quyen, the core value and strategic goal of the FPT Long Chau pharmacy chain is to provide sufficient medicine to customers. As a pharmaceutical retailer, the company focuses on training employees to advise on the right medicine, the right disease, and the right dosage, including dietary advice to ensure effectiveness during treatment, regardless of domestic or foreign medicine. FRT also welcomes domestic partners who can proactively source materials and produce competitive drugs.
The Long Chau pharmacy and vaccination system focuses on efficiency rather than speed, ensuring that each new pharmacy operates effectively. Monitoring and evaluation are closely monitored on a monthly basis, with a target of opening 350 stores but not limited to that number.
“If the profit is good, FRT will continue to accelerate the opening of new stores as usual, not stopping at 350”, affirmed Nguyen Bach Diep, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FRT.
Also, at the 2025 Annual General Meeting held in late April, Ms. Nguyen Bach Diep said that from the beginning, FRT opened a vaccine chain based on the Heathcare Ecosystem strategy, targeting customers of the pharmacy. The vaccine model at Long Chau is different from other chains as they invest in a large-scale model, while FRT focuses on a small-scale, dense, and convenient model. Therefore, vaccine customers mainly come from Long Chau pharmacy customers who are advised by pharmacists.
“Up to now, almost 50% of customers coming to the vaccination center for vaccination are referred by Long Chau pharmacy pharmacists, who come to buy medicine and are then advised by pharmacists to go for vaccination to prevent diseases”, said the Chairman of FRT.
Currently, the vaccine coverage rate in Vietnam is about 4% of the population, while some neighboring countries have a rate of up to 30-40%. Ms. Diep affirmed that FRT does not compete by taking customers from other companies but by raising people’s awareness of prevention to reduce the burden of treatment.
The Textile Industry Navigates Turbulent Waters: Riding the Wave or Drowning in Tariff Troubles?
The textile industry witnessed a remarkable rebound in the first quarter of 2025, attributed to improved profit margins and steady orders. Despite this positive trajectory, the industry faces a significant headwind in the form of looming 46% tariffs from the United States, which, although postponed for 90 days, necessitates a swift strategic shift to sustain this growth momentum.
