On the evening of May 29th, the Economic Police Department of the Ca Mau Provincial Public Security revealed that they had coordinated with relevant authorities to inspect and detect several violations related to industrial chemicals and cosmetics of unknown origin.

According to initial information, at around 10 am on the same day, the task force conducted a surprise inspection at B.N. cosmetic business in Cai Nuoc town, Cai Nuoc district. Over 1,000 products were discovered, including shower gel, sunscreen, and skin creams, lacking invoices and with unclear origins. The total value of these goods is estimated at VND 60 million.
Previously, on May 28th, the Economic Police of Ca Mau Provincial Public Security coordinated with the police of Cai Nuoc town and Luong The Tran commune to simultaneously inspect several industrial chemical businesses.
The authorities discovered over 25 tons of foreign-produced industrial chemicals without the required certificates for business conditions as stipulated by law. These chemicals are mainly used in aquaculture and livestock farming.
The violating goods have been temporarily confiscated by the authorities for verification, clarification, and handling in accordance with regulations.
