Vietjet’s report at the annual meeting highlighted positive business performance in 2024, with the highest revenue ever, an expanding international network, and robust growth.
POSITIVE REVENUE GROWTH AND EXPANDING INTERNATIONAL ROUTES
In 2024, Vietjet transported 25.9 million passengers (excluding Vietjet Thailand), including over 9 million international travelers, an impressive 18% increase from 2023.
The airline introduced 20 new international and domestic routes, bringing the total number of routes to 145, including 101 international and 44 domestic routes. Vietjet is the first airline to connect Vietnam with the five largest cities in Australia and operates the most routes between Vietnam and India, China, South Korea, and Japan.
The audited financial results for 2024 showed that Vietjet’s parent company revenue reached VND 71,734 billion, with a pre-tax profit of VND 1,748 billion. The consolidated revenue reached VND 72,045 billion, with a pre-tax profit of over VND 1,823 billion.
As of December 31, 2024, Vietjet’s total assets amounted to nearly VND 99,300 billion. The debt-to-equity ratio stood at 2.03, and the liquidity ratio was 1.58, both indicating a healthy financial position within the aviation industry.
The company’s cash balance, bank deposits, and working capital limits ensured its ability to meet payment obligations as planned. Vietjet contributed over VND 7,500 billion in direct and indirect taxes and fees to the state budget in 2024.
In early 2025, Vietjet marked a significant milestone with its first flight from Vietnam to the United States, signifying its expansion into new markets.
To support its development plans for the next decade, Vietjet agreed to purchase 20 wide-body A330neo aircraft from Airbus, bringing the total number of wide-body aircraft orders to 40.

Addressing the shareholders, Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, Chairwoman of Vietjet’s Board of Directors, expressed strong confidence in the airline’s future. She emphasized that Vietjet is not just a pioneer in the aviation industry but has evolved into a multinational carrier with a global vision, embracing modernity, flexibility, and deep integration with the world.
“Vietjet is relentlessly expanding its international network, enhancing its regional and global presence, and pioneering connections to new destinations, thereby fostering trade, tourism, and investment opportunities,” she added.
Dr. Thao reaffirmed Vietjet’s commitment to being a dynamic bridge connecting Vietnam to the world, fostering strong ties between economies, communities, and cultures. Above all, the airline prioritizes safety, customer satisfaction, and continuous innovation, offering international-standard services with a friendly and modern approach.
DIVERSIFIED PRODUCTS AND SERVICES TO MEET CUSTOMER NEEDS
Vietjet offers a range of modern services to cater to diverse customer needs, including Business Class tickets for long-haul flights operated by wide-body A330 aircraft, duty-free shopping, insurance, currency exchange, and more.
The airline has been a pioneer in introducing biometric technology for check-in procedures through the VneID application at major airports, providing a seamless and convenient experience for passengers. Vietjet also leverages advanced technology in its operations to optimize costs and contribute to the development of the aviation industry.
With a focus on sustainable development, Vietjet continuously invests in ground handling operations, technical services, and human resource development. The airline has taken charge of ground handling services at Vietnam’s two largest airports, Tan Son Nhat and Noi Bai, further enhancing its comprehensive range of aviation services.
