On May 30, the Prime Minister issued Directive 15 to enhance compliance with pricing laws. The directive emphasizes the importance of disseminating the Pricing Law and its guiding documents to government officials and businesses. It calls for a review of pricing-related legal documents and the issuance of new ones, ensuring they are up-to-date and streamlined.

The directive also focuses on state pricing, urging ministries and localities to ensure that state-regulated prices are in line with market rates. This includes services transitioning to market-based pricing, such as electricity, healthcare, domestic air travel, and textbooks. A thorough review of cost factors and price adjustments is necessary to avoid inflationary pressures.

Additionally, the directive emphasizes the need for transparency in pricing information and strengthened inspection and supervision to prevent price manipulation and unreasonable price increases. Violations, such as false price declarations, non-declaration, unclear price displays, or selling above declared prices, will be strictly handled.
