Constructing an overpass to expand the roadbed of National Highway 28B connecting Binh Thuan and Lam Dong
This express route is considered the most feasible option to link three vital economic and administrative centers in the region: Phan Thiet city (Binh Thuan), Bao Loc city (Lam Dong), and Gia Nghia city (Dak Nong).
The proposed route offers the shortest distance, favorable terrain, and direction. It can also connect to the North-South expressway’s western and eastern corridors.
The express road is designed to modern standards, featuring controlled access, medians, emergency lanes, and advanced signage to minimize traffic accidents.
The construction of this expressway aims to reduce travel time and cargo and passenger transportation costs between the three provinces, enhance transportation efficiency, and relieve congestion on existing national highways.
The localities are currently collaborating to finalize the dossier and propose to the Prime Minister to consider including this express road in the master plan for the road transport network for the period 2021-2030, with a vision towards 2050.
