
Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee has issued a document to the Party Committee of the People’s Committee of Dong Nai Province, conveying the conclusions of the Provincial Standing Committee’s meeting on May 22nd regarding the deployment of three major projects in the area.
Specifically, after reviewing the proposal by the Party Committee of the People’s Committee, the Provincial Standing Committee of Dong Nai approved in principle the implementation of the Ma Da Bridge project connecting Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc provinces; the elevated road project along National Highway 51 from Vung Tau intersection to the intersection of Vo Nguyen Giap Street with Bien Hoa – Vung Tau expressway; and the extension of the Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien metro line to the new administrative center of Bien Hoa city and Long Thanh International Airport, as suggested by the Party Committee.
Regarding the Ma Da Bridge project, the Provincial Party Committee requested the Party Committee of the People’s Committee to carefully consider the opinions of the Provincial Standing Committee members to ensure the project’s compliance with practical situations and planning requirements.
As proposed, the Ma Da Bridge project will be implemented in the first phase with a cross-section width of 20.5 meters, including four lanes for motor vehicles, and an approach road with a width of 30 meters and four lanes. The estimated investment for this phase is nearly VND 193 billion.
For the elevated road project along National Highway 51, the Party Committee of the People’s Committee recommended investing in the section from Vung Tau intersection to the intersection of Vo Nguyen Giap Street with Bien Hoa – Vung Tau expressway, connecting directly to Huong Lo 2. The project is proposed to be implemented under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, with a BOT contract, and an estimated investment of over VND 14,700 billion.
The extension of the Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien metro line is approximately 38.5 kilometers long and divided into three sections. The estimated investment for this project is over VND 67,400 billion, with a mixed capital source including central support, provincial budget, BOT capital, and land fund exploitation.
