Bạc Liêu is set to focus on completing social housing projects in the coming years.

In 2025, the province will prioritize the completion of the Beda Bac Lieu 1 social housing project, comprising 338 low-rise terraced houses, developed by Beda T&C Joint Stock Company. Following this, the Beda Bac Lieu 2 project, featuring 285 similar houses, is slated for construction in 2026.

The People’s Committee of Bac Lieu Province has also directed the Department of Construction to collaborate with relevant departments to advise on converting the functionality of two student apartment buildings on 3 February Street (public assets in Ward 1, Bac Lieu City) into 150 social housing units by 2026.

From 2027 to 2030, Bac Lieu aims to complete an additional 1,130 social housing units. Several other social housing projects are also in the pipeline, demonstrating the province’s commitment to enhancing social welfare and improving living standards for its residents.
