This year, Hanoi has been assigned by the Prime Minister to complete 4,670 social housing units. Based on actual inspections, the Ministry of Construction assesses that the city can exceed this target, with over 4,700 units across six projects, mainly in outlying districts such as Long Bien, Dong Anh, Bac Tu Liem, and Me Linh.
In terms of pricing, out of the six projects expected to be completed this year, specific information is available for two. The social housing project at four land plots, CT1-CT4, in the Kim Hoa urban area (Me Linh district) is priced at VND 21.2 million per square meter. Meanwhile, the project at land plot CT3 in the Kim Chung new urban area (Dong Anh district) is expected to cost VND 18.4 million per square meter.
Notable mentions go to upcoming and approved projects, including the social housing project in the C14/NO1 planning area in Phuc Dong ward (Long Bien district). This project is strategically located near upscale residential areas such as Vinhomes Riverside and Viet Hung, along with various low-rise housing projects in the vicinity.
Even more intriguing are projects in the development pipeline located in Hanoi’s most prestigious urban areas, such as the Nam Thang Long Urban Area (Ciputra) and the Starlake Tay Ho Tay project.
