In late May, the two-wheeled electric vehicle brand YADEA unveiled its latest offerings at the “Mastering the Future” event held in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City. The highlight of the event was the debut of three smart electric vehicles: VELAX, VEKOO, and ORIS, each catering to different user groups, including students, working professionals, and urban women.

The event also marked the brand’s collaboration with artist SOOBIN as its brand ambassador and signaled YADEA’s plans for infrastructure expansion and market development in Vietnam.

The first model in the collection, the YADEA VELAX, is positioned as a daily commuter vehicle for working professionals who desire high-performance experiences. It comes in three variants: VELAX H, VELAX U, and VELAX Fast Charging. The VELAX U, in particular, boasts a TTFAR 3000W motor, achieving a top speed of 86 km/h and a remarkable range of up to 129 km on a single charge.

VELAX incorporates fast-charging technology, allowing for an 80% charge in just 20 minutes. It utilizes a 76V 30Ah lithium iron phosphate battery, offering a 25% longer lifespan compared to industry standards. Additionally, its battery management technology (BMS) enables real-time monitoring of battery health.

The second line of vehicles, the YADEA VEKOO, targets Gen Z and Gen Alpha customers who value individuality and technological experiences. It features a 1000W motor, paired with a graphene TTFAR battery and IPX7 water resistance. VEKOO’s design stands out with its spacious legroom, elevated seat height, and vibrant color options, making it ideal for young individuals’ commuting, academic, and recreational needs.

Lastly, the YADEA ORIS is tailored for women, featuring a classic European-style design. It sports square headlights with diamond-cut edges, LED lights with a 70-meter range, and a seat tailored to female users. ORIS is equipped with a graphene battery, a cold-rolled steel frame, and water resistance up to 300mm, offering a range of 90 km.

All three models are integrated with the intelligent control system AIGO, offering features such as keyless entry, GPS tracking, customizable audio, and energy-saving mode. This technology enhances the user experience while prioritizing safety and convenience.

YADEA also announced plans to invest in expanding fast-charging infrastructure in Vietnam, aiming to make electric vehicle charging as commonplace and convenient as traditional gasoline refueling.

A notable highlight of the event was the unveiling of a co-branded version in collaboration with SOOBIN, embodying the modern style and innovative spirit that YADEA aspires to.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Liu Jia, General Director of YADEA Vietnam, emphasized the growing importance of the Vietnamese market in the company’s global strategy. After achieving a leading market share in Vietnam in 2024, YADEA is now focused on new product investments, local manufacturing, and brand development.

Currently, the company has established two manufacturing facilities in Bac Giang. Their strategy of localizing production and tailoring their offerings to Vietnam’s infrastructure and consumer preferences has been key to YADEA’s success in competing with domestic and international rivals.
