On June 3, in his opening speech at the 46th meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee (NA), Chairman Tran Thanh Man stated that the first session of the 9th session was a success. The National Assembly passed eight important resolutions.

Specifically, it will give opinions on the reception, explanation, and editing of 28/31 draft laws and resolutions discussed in the first phase of the session, expected to be passed by the National Assembly in the second phase.

“This is a huge workload, covering many fields, requiring meticulousness, high responsibility, and close coordination between the presenting, reviewing, and related agencies,” the National Assembly Chairman stated.

In addition, the NA Standing Committee will also give initial opinions on the contents to be presented to the National Assembly in the second phase, including: the Law Draft amending and supplementing a number of articles of laws in the field of national defense; the National Assembly’s Resolution on amending or abolishing the financial management mechanism and special income of state administrative agencies and units; and the Proposal for the arrangement of administrative units at the provincial level in 2025.
