The National Assembly Office announces that the 46th meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee is expected to take place over six days, from June 3rd to 6th and then resuming on June 9th and 10th, at the Tan Trao Meeting Room in the National Assembly House.

At this meeting, the National Assembly Standing Committee will devote a significant portion of its agenda to law-building efforts. Specifically, the committee will provide feedback on the refinement and amendment of several bills, including the Law on Local Government Organization (revised); the Law on Cadres and Civil Servants (revised); the Law on Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Advertising; the Law on Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People’s Council Deputies; and the Law on Employment (revised), among others.

Additionally, the committee will offer opinions on the draft Law on Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of Laws in the Fields of National Defense and Security, as well as on a proposal for the arrangement of administrative units at the provincial level in 2025. They will also consider and approve, in principle, resolutions on the arrangement of administrative units at the communal level for the same year.

The meeting agenda also includes the examination of a draft resolution by the National Assembly on amending or repealing the financial management and special income mechanism of state administrative agencies, along with a draft resolution on piloting several special mechanisms and policies for investing in the development of the railway system.

Furthermore, the National Assembly Standing Committee will deliberate and pass several decrees, resolutions, and other important matters during this session.
