The Ninh Binh Provincial Finance Department has recently approved the investment policy for the Eco-urban Area project in the east of Hoa Lu city with a total investment of VND 16,443 billion. The project site is located in Ninh Khanh ward and Ninh Khang commune, Hoa Lu city.
The project has a land use scale of approximately 163 hectares, mostly agricultural land for rice cultivation and fruit and crop farming, which has not yet been compensated or cleared. The project is expected to include approximately 7,661 residential units, including 1,745 townhouses, 459 villas, 1,573 commercial apartments, and 3,884 social housing apartments.
In addition, the project will feature 3 cultural houses, 2 medical stations, 1 kindergarten, 1 general school, commercial services, hotels, a clubhouse, and other supporting facilities. The investment preparation and implementation period is expected to be from 2025 to 2032, with a construction period of 6 years from the date of land handover.
Previously, in September 2024, the People’s Committee of Ninh Binh province approved the task of planning a 1/2000 scale subdivision plan for an eco-tourism and resort complex in Quang Lac commune, Nho Quan district, Ninh Binh province. The project has a total area of about 475.8 hectares and is expected to accommodate a population of 20,000 people.
This eco-tourism area will feature eco-tourism, cultural and historical sites, entertainment areas, and resorts with a synchronized infrastructure and services to meet the needs of local and international residents and tourists.
Located 90 km south of Hanoi, Ninh Binh has advantages in developing cultural, ecological, and resort tourism, highlighted by the Trang An complex. The proposed merger of Ha Nam, Ninh Binh, and Nam Dinh provinces into a single province named Ninh Binh further underscores the region’s potential for growth and development.
