On June 2nd, the Bibica Bien Hoa Factory – a branch of Bibica Joint Stock Company in Bien Hoa Industrial Park 1 (Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province) dismantled its workshop to return the land to the state.

It is understood that this is one of the first enterprises to voluntarily dismantle its workshop and relocate its factory to implement the project on transforming the function of Bien Hoa Industrial Park 1 into an urban-commercial-service area and improving the environment in accordance with the direction of the People’s Committee of Dong Nai Province.

At present, the inter-sectoral inspection team of the Provincial People’s Committee is inspecting the compliance with laws in five fields: land, construction, environment, fire prevention and fighting, and tax of nearly 80 establishments operating in production, business, and land lease in Bien Hoa Industrial Park 1.

The leader of the People’s Committee of Dong Nai Province directed that for enterprises that voluntarily dismantle their assets and relocate their factories or commit to the implementation time, the inter-sectoral inspection team of the Provincial People’s Committee will not conduct inspections to create favorable conditions for enterprises to perform their tasks.

Bien Hoa Industrial Park 1 was formed in 1963 under the name Bien Hoa Industrial Zone. After 1975, it was renamed Bien Hoa Industrial Park 1. In 2024, the People’s Committee of Dong Nai Province issued a decision approving the project on transforming Bien Hoa Industrial Park 1 into an urban-commercial-service area and improving the environment. The project has a total cost of about VND 7,500 billion for compensation and site clearance.

The transformation of Bien Hoa Industrial Park 1 is expected to provide an opportunity for Bien Hoa City to develop according to the master plan, thereby contributing to changing the architectural face of the city, improving land use efficiency, and reducing environmental pollution…

On May 29, 2025, the People’s Committee of Dong Nai province approved a local adjustment to the 1/5000 subdivision planning of subdivision C4 under the master plan of Bien Hoa city in Long Hung commune and a part of Tam Phuoc ward, encompassing prominent urban areas such as Waterfront, Aqua City, Cu Lao Phuoc Hung, and the Long Hung residential area.
